Position: Project Manager Location: Bangalore
About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will collaborate with senior project leaders to oversee and execute cross-functional programs. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring high-quality deliverables essential for seamless project planning and execution, including:
- Developing integrated project timelines
- Implementing risk management strategies
- Enhancing project communication tools
- Managing portfolio assessment
- Tracking and managing budgets
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain documentation and communication tools to identify potential execution issues and misalignments.
- Identify process inefficiencies and collaborate with teams to implement improvements.
- Utilize dashboards and performance metrics to manage projects effectively.
- Prepare and review project presentations and reports, presenting data when required.
- Manage small-scale projects independently under the supervision of a senior project leader.
- Schedule and lead project meetings, draft agendas, record minutes, and ensure follow-ups.
- Coordinate smooth information flow within cross-functional teams across global R&D hubs.
- Provide project management expertise to ensure team members efficiently fulfill their responsibilities.
- Demonstrate leadership and the ability to inspire teams toward achieving ambitious objectives.
- Partner with the Project Planner to establish and maintain project plans aligned with the global development strategy.
- Lead and contribute to cross-business initiatives and process development.
- Analyze data, assess solutions, and make independent recommendations for project success.
- Support budget analysis and management in collaboration with project leaders and financial controllers.
- Ensure cost-effective execution of development plans.
Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline with at least 6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or medical device industry, OR
- Master's degree in a scientific discipline with at least 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or medical device industry
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the drug development process
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project management training or certification (e.g., PMI, IPMA)
- Experience in a global matrix organization
- Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organizational, time management, and facilitation abilities
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
