About the Job
Location : San Angelo, TX
Coordinates and plans the work activities of assigned QC technicians and QC Analysts to ensure that testing is executed in a timely and adequate manner.
Provides guidance for test execution and analysis to ensure compliance with established specifications. Assists in recording nonconformance issues and conducting investigations, compiling data as evidence.
Offers leadership and advice to the assigned group of QC associates. Prepares documentation and performs calculations to showcase test results.
Assists in conducting Protocols and compiling data for Completion Reports. Ensures proper calibration and repair of test equipment in the laboratories according to standard operating procedures.
Makes recommendations and implements changes to enhance quality, efficiency, processes, and productivity techniques.
Works with high self-motivation even with minimal documentation or guidance. Compiles data and prepares reports on findings, such as quarterly environmental and bioburden audits.
Ensures adherence to accurate safety and environmental procedures. Leads or co-leads continuous improvement activities within the department and company.
Adheres to applicable quality management system, environmental, safety, and occupational health policies (e.g., ISO 13485, ISO14001 & OSHAS18001).
Communicates business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level. The San Angelo Plant operates 24/7, including weekends and holidays.
