Job Purpose:
This is a lab-based position, working with drug metabolism and transporter team. The major purpose will be to validate and establish different transporter transfected cell lines, learn different in vitro transporter based assays and assist the team to deliver on its objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have a proven ability in working with different mammalian cell lines. The candidate’s ability to independently design, execute, troubleshoot cell culture based in vitro studies will be considered a plus. The candidate is expected to interpret the data and communicate it to the team to support drug discovery in a fast-paced environment. This role requires enthusiasm, critical thinking abilities. Hands on experience with in vitro ADME will be an added advantage for this position. 

Technical/functional Skills: 
* Preparation of compound stocks, buffers, media and other materials required for In-vitro ADME experimental work. 
* Experience in working in aseptic handling of cell lines preferred
* Hands on experience in other common in vitro ADME assays is highly preferred
* Use of analytical equipment such as HPLC and (u)HPLC-MS/MS will be an added advantage
* Monitoring of consumables stock levels in the laboratory and re-stocking shelves.
* Contributing to process improvement and the sharing of new ideas within the team
